About Ashling Park Estate Ltd
Ashling Park Estate is an exceptional Hampshire vineyard situated in the picturesque South Downs, producing award-winning English sparkling wines that have captured attention at the highest levels of the industry. The estate swept the board at the Wine GB Awards, winning Best Classic Cuvée NV, Best Sparkling Rosé, and Best Sparkling Wine in the South East.
The vineyard benefits from the expertise of Dermot Sugrue, one of the most talented winemakers in the English wine industry, who supervises the magical transformation from vine to sparkling wine. The wines are crafted using the traditional method with extended lees ageing – aiming for a full six years – to develop complexity and finesse that rivals the finest Champagnes.
Ashling Park has become a destination in its own right, with outstanding wines served at world-renowned establishments including Cliveden House in Berkshire, Chewton Glen in Hampshire, and the Three Chimneys restaurant on the Isle of Skye. While still very much a family affair, with multiple generations involved in all aspects of the business, the estate has expanded to meet growing demand for English wine tourism.
