About Bosue Vineyard
Bosue Vineyard is a family-run vineyard in Cornwall producing award-winning still and sparkling white and rosé wines, plus Cornish brandy, all from locally grown grapes. Owned and run by Paul and Liz Sibley, the vineyard is situated just outside St. Ewe, near St. Austell on Cornwall's south coast.
Bosue Vineyard: Site and Grape Varieties
The whole winemaking process from harvest to bottling is completed at Bosue Vineyard, with only Cornish grapes processed for winemaking. This commitment to local production ensures that every bottle genuinely represents Cornish terroir and supports the regional wine economy.
Bosue has established itself as a respected producer within the Cornish wine scene, earning awards for their carefully crafted wines. The mild maritime climate of south Cornwall, moderated by the Gulf Stream, creates surprisingly favourable conditions for viticulture, allowing grapes to ripen fully while retaining the fresh acidity prized in quality wines.
The production of Cornish brandy adds another dimension to Bosue's offering, demonstrating the versatility and ambition of this family operation. Distilled from their own wine, the brandy represents a natural extension of their grape-growing expertise.
Bosue wines are available from selected stockists throughout Cornwall who promote good Cornish produce, as well as directly from the vineyard. For those exploring Cornwall's emerging wine scene, Bosue Vineyard offers an authentic taste of what this beautiful county can produce.
