About Roebuck Estates
Roebuck Estates was born from a clear vision shared by two friends: to craft exceptional vintage sparkling wines that could be enjoyed all over the world. Founded in 2013 with their first parcel of land in West Sussex near the picturesque market town of Petworth, Roebuck has grown to encompass six vineyard sites spanning the beautiful counties of West Sussex, East Sussex, and Kent.
Roebuck Estates: Sustainability Focus
The estate's name draws inspiration from the wild roe deer often seen roaming the beautiful surroundings, reflecting their enormous respect for the land and commitment to leaving the lightest environmental footprint possible. This philosophy of sustainability underpins all their viticulture and winemaking practices.
Roebuck's vineyards are renowned for their rich, fertile soils and exceptional quality fruit. Each site has been planted with carefully selected varieties and clones of the classic Champenois trio, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, best suited to that particular terroir. The full-time vineyard team, comprising talented individuals with worldwide experience, works tirelessly to produce the very best fruit in each growing season.
Since their debut wine release in 2019, Roebuck's vintage sparkling wines have won numerous trophies and awards in prestigious global wine competitions and can be found in some of the finest restaurants in the UK and beyond. Visitors can experience the Roebuck story through tours and tastings at the estate, where the combination of stunning countryside, passionate winemaking, and world-class wines creates an unforgettable English wine experience.
