About Brabourne Vineyard

Brabourne Vineyard is a family-run vineyard set in the village of the same name in the Kent countryside, at the foot of the North Downs. Taking advantage of south-west facing chalk slopes, the vineyard produces medal-winning sparkling and still wines that showcase the exceptional terroir of this corner of England.

Brabourne Vineyard: Site and Grape Varieties

As a proud family business, Brabourne's grapevines are nurtured by hand throughout the year. The vineyard promotes wildlife diversity and accommodates a charming menagerie including domestic pets, hens, ducks, geese, and most recently, a flock of doves – adding character to an already picturesque setting.

The longer the family lives in historic Brabourne, the more they unearth about the village's history and the part their house has played. This deep connection to place infuses their winemaking with genuine sense of terroir and tradition.

The wine range includes impressive sparkling wines such as the Blanc de Noirs and Classic Cuvée, alongside still wines including English Pinot Noir Rosé, Adeliza White Pinot Noir, and Albermarle Chardonnay. They even produce a distinctive Vermouth. All wines reflect the chalky soils and favourable aspect of their Kent Downs location.

Tours at Brabourne are small and personalised, tailored to the interests of each group. Visitors discover how vines are grown and English wine is produced while enjoying the warm welcome, idyllic surroundings, and the opportunity to taste these distinctive Kentish wines.
