About Tuffon Hall Vineyard
Tuffon Hall is a family home, working farm, and boutique vineyard in the heart of East Anglia, located in Sible Hedingham, Essex. For over a century, the family has farmed these 1,200 acres, and today a small portion of the estate is given over to vines, an integral part of the farm and its future.
The vineyard grows Bacchus, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, producing award-winning still white, sparkling white, still rosé, and sparkling rosé wines. Their Beatrice 2022 Pinot Noir Rosé was crowned 'Best Still Rosé in Great Britain' at the Wine GB Awards, praise echoed by Oz Clarke who called it "deliciously easy drinking and knocks the socks off any Provence stuff."
The newly launched Blanc de Noirs, unveiled in partnership with Shackleton at their flagship Piccadilly store, represents another milestone. With fewer than 1,000 bottles available, this limited release showcases what this young vineyard can achieve. Visitors can enjoy tours and tastings while strolling through the vineyard set in beautiful North Essex countryside, learning about growing grapes and producing award-winning wine in England.
Tuffon Hall has also been named Barn Wedding Venue of the Year 2026 at the Essex Wedding Awards, receiving Highly Commended at The Wedding Industry Awards for the East of England. The estate offers supper clubs, weekend retreats, and joyful celebrations among the rows, inviting visitors to experience the fruit of their labour firsthand.
