Woodchester Valley Vineyard is a multi-award winning boutique vineyard and winery set in the stunning South Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Founded by Fiona and Jeremy Shiner, this family-owned estate has earned recognition for producing a diverse range of exceptional still and sparkling wines.

Woodchester Valley Vineyard: Site and Grape Varieties

The vineyard spans 58 acres across three sites within the Cotswolds AONB, growing an impressive selection including Bacchus, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Regent, Seyval Blanc, Ortega, Solaris, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Siegerrebe. This variety allows the creation of whites, rosés, reds, and sparkling wines that showcase different aspects of the Cotswolds terroir.

Great care is taken throughout the production process, from handpicking grapes to gentle pressing and slow, cool fermentation that preserves the aromatics and fruit characteristics of cool-climate wines. The flagship Cotswold Classic sparkling wine and Reserve Cuvée have become particular favourites, while the estate blend Culver Hill brings together the best elements of multiple varieties.

Visitors are welcomed year-round for guided vineyard and winery tours with hosted wine tastings, providing insight into the art of growing vines and making wine in a cool climate. The Wine Club offers exclusive access to new releases, discounts, and a year-long journey through the vineyard's seasonal rhythms.
